How to Get Skeleton Keys in Warzone DMZ

Despite the fact that Warzone’s DMZ is entering its sixth season of post-launch content, Skeleton Keys continue to remain highly sought-after and valuable in the extraction mode. This guide will provide you with the necessary information on obtaining, creating, and effectively utilizing these prized items.

What are Skeleton Keys?

These are the master keys of the DMZ. They have the ability to unlock any lock, be it on a bag, cache, or crate. If you possess one, ensure its safety as it holds tremendous power for both looting and exploring.

The majority of keys, such as the Barista’s Bag Key, are designed to unlock a single item. In the case of the Barista’s Bag Key, it is specifically meant to open the Barista’s Bag. However, there are some keys that have the ability to open multiple items, like the Stage Bag Key, which can unlock both of Vondel’s Stage Bags. Except for Skeleton Keys, no other keys possess the capability to unlock any place or object.

They possess the ability to unlock every place except for those with specific access protocols. For instance, Building 21 necessitates a keycard while the Koschei Complex requires an airlock to gain entry.

Similar to other keys in DMZ, there exist three types of Skeleton Key, with each type specifying the number of times it can be utilized. These types include:

  • Pristine = 3 uses
  • Used = 2 uses
  • Worn = 1 use

Getting Them: Missions, Bartering & Recipes

In DMZ, there are two methods for players to acquire items. The initial option involves engaging in bartering, while the second entails successfully accomplishing missions that offer rewards.

Bartering

In order to access DMZ’s barter system, players are required to achieve Reputation Level 2 within the White Lotus Faction.

Once players visit a Buy Station within any exclusion zone, they will be presented with the Barter Option. By selecting this option, players can view a list of all available items for barter. Navigating through the list will provide information on the required items for trading.

Usually, the items that people desire the most, such as Skeleton Keys, are open for trading. The higher the quality of the item, the more challenging it is to negotiate a trade.
